That Visor. That Kingswood. You Know The One.*

If you’ve seen the mint green HG on Instagram in the paddock with the white fence – KIN93R – white walls, red caps, chrome dish, and that little black roof over the windscreen. This is that visor.

This is the exterior sun visor, also called a moon visor, cab visor, windshield visor. Holden sold them as a dealer accessory back in 1968-1971. Every property owner, surfer, and farmer had one. Then they all rusted, cracked, or got thrown away. Now you can’t find one.

We reproduced this one off the green HG in these photos. Steel, not fiberglass. Proper shape.

*WHY EVERY HK HT HG NEEDS THIS VISOR:*

Look at these photos. Without the visor, it’s a nice restored HG. WITH the visor, it’s a magazine car. It’s the one detail that makes people stop at the servo and ask about it.

1. *The 70s Look:* Nothing says 1970s Aussie cruiser like a black moon visor on a Kingswood. It’s period correct, not a modern mod.

2. *Blocks Sun:* These old Holdens have a huge windscreen and no tint. This visor cuts that top 15cm of harsh sun that fries your dash and blinds you at 4pm.

3. *Makes It Look Finished:* Venetian blinds in the back, visor on the front – that’s the complete old school package.

*FEATURES – ELABORATE:*

*Material:* 1.6mm Pressed Steel. We don’t use cheap fiberglass like eBay copies that crack after one summer in Queensland. This is steel, powder coated, will last as long as the car. Same as original GMH accessory.

*Finish:* Satin Black – as you see on the green HG in both paddock photos. Satin black goes with any body colour – green, white, blue, orange. It can also be painted body colour if you want – we supply it in primer on request.

*Fitment:* Laser cut to HK HT HG roof profile. It follows the curve of the roof, wraps around the A-pillars just right, and has the correct overhang over the windscreen – about 4 inches – like in photo 1. No big gap, no wobbly edges.

*Mounting:* Bolt-on, no weld. 5 point mount: 2 on each side to the rain gutter, 1 centre support to roof. Comes with rubber pads so it doesn’t scratch your paint. You can fit it in your driveway in 30 minutes with one mate holding it. No holes drilled into the roof skin – all mounts to gutter channel.

*Quality Detail:* Rolled front edge for strength and safety, not sharp cut metal. Welded centre brace underneath so it doesn’t flex at 100km/h.

*WHAT’S IN THE BOX:*

1x Exterior Sun Visor – HK HT HG – Steel – Satin Black – 1500mm wide

5x Heavy Duty Mounting Brackets – Galvanised + Powder Coated
